Science
The community of bacteria and other microbes that live in the gut is known as the gut microbiome. One way to support the health of the gut microbiome is through daily supplementation with probiotics, which are live, good bacteria. Probiotics keep the gut microbiome healthy by inhibiting the growth of bad bacteria, keeping the digestive system in a state of balance, keeping the bowels regular.
Probiotics also enhance the function of the immune system, reducing the duration of common colds(1). Biome Daily™ Probiotic contains two exclusive probiotic strains (Lactobacillus plantarum HEAL9 and Lactobacillus paracasei 8700:2) which have been shown to reduce the number of colds people experience, but also the severity of cold symptoms, and the number of days each cold lasts(2)(3).
